We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I don't want to be in a battle but being on the edge of one I can't escape is even worse.
I think I understand how you feel; a lot of people tend to not see me for who I am as a person, but who I am behind text books or dressed up in costume. Not exactly the same problem, but it sure does get me down. I guess sometimes you just gotta take of the wig and really let yourself out!
I'm sure you'll get through it; you seem like a strong person. :3 If you need a break from dA, that's understandable, and I hope you sort out the troubles on your mind.
PS- When I get down from that stuff, I like to draw all the things that make me happy with crayons or just sit down with a good book.
